Top 10 Equity Diversified Funds – March 2010
Here is the first edition of FRPP rankings in the Equity Diversified category (See my previous post on FRPP).
At the top is the ICICI Prudential Discovery Fund, which follows a value based investing strategy and picks stocks trading below its inherent value.
Sundaram Select Midcap Fund comes in the second position, and Birla Sunlife Midcap Fund holds the third position. Both of these midcap funds have done well during the trending markets (up & down).

A total of 264 equity diversified mutual funds were used in the analysis. For reference purposes, SENSEX (1 year return – 105%) held the 65th rank, and NIFTY (1 year return – 95%) held the 79th rank.
